Who we are

Gofar Labs (“Gofar Labs,” “we,” “us”) is based in Los Angeles, California. We design and deploy open-weight AI systems that run on-premise, on hardware controlled by the hospitals we work with. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, gofarai.com, and how we use it.

Patient data and our hospital deployments

Our platform is built to run inside a hospital’s own environment. In normal operation, patient data, prompts, and model outputs stay on the hospital’s infrastructure and are not sent to Gofar Labs. This website does not collect, receive, or store protected health information (PHI).

Some engagements, such as fine-tuning or on-site support, may involve our personnel working inside a hospital’s environment. That work is governed by a separate written agreement with the hospital — including a Business Associate Agreement where HIPAA requires one — not by this policy. Adapters we train for a hospital belong to that hospital, stay on its hardware, and are not retained by us.

Please do not include patient information in our contact form, our website chat, or any other message you send us through this website.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, work email, organization, and what you are trying to solve, plus your role and phone number if you choose to provide them.

Website chat. When you use the chat on our website, we collect the messages you send, the page you started the chat from, and your email address if you choose to provide it, along with your IP address and browser type. Your browser stores a random identifier so the conversation can continue as you move between pages; clearing your browser’s site data removes it. Chat messages are read and answered by the Gofar Labs team; they are not processed by an AI model.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site or submit the form, we and our service providers may collect:

• Your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your request
• Pages you visit and how you arrived at the site (for example, a referring website or search engine)
• Approximate location derived from your IP address

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule conversations you request
• To evaluate and carry out a potential working relationship with your organization
• To protect the site and the contact form from spam, abuse, and security threats
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use contact form information for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Jetpack (WordPress.com) site statistics to understand how visitors use the site. These services use cookies or similar technologies and receive information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view. Google’s use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site will continue to work if you do.

You can also choose Decline on our cookie banner. If you do, Google Analytics and Jetpack statistics stop collecting data immediately and are not loaded at all on later visits from that browser. To change your choice, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, under terms that limit their use of it:

• Our website hosting provider, which stores the site and contact form submissions
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics and Jetpack site statistics)
• Website security and firewall services, which process request data to block attacks
• Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks contact form submissions for automated abuse. It processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
• Email service providers, which deliver contact form notifications to us

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions and chat conversations for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting business relationship, and then delete them unless we must retain them for legal reasons. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics providers. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

How we protect information

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to Gofar Labs personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, use our contact form and include “Privacy request” in your message. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

This website is intended for healthcare professionals and organizations. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or services change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
